NB Power is seeking its next Chief Legal Officer (CLO).

The CLO is a member of the senior management team, responsible for providing strategic direction in all legal matters related to NB Power. The successful candidate will lead a specialized team of legal professionals responsible for providing diversified legal advice to all functional areas within NB Power.

As an ideal candidate, you are a member of the New Brunswick Bar and possess deep and progressive experience in corporate law, ideally within a complex commercial setting. You have substantial experience leading, motivating and developing highly skilled professionals in a dynamic, changing environment. A collaborative and inclusive leader with a strong client-service orientation, you excel at providing strategic, commercially minded and risk-appropriate advice that will enable innovation and the achievement of business goals. You consistently demonstrate high levels of personal and professional integrity, creative problem-solving skills, solid business acumen and superior negotiating and communication abilities. Proficiency in both official languages is not required but would be an asset.
